I am 34 weeks pregnant and my boobs are not that big(have only gone up 1 bra size) and I have has no breast leaks or anything. Do you think that I will have a hard time breastfeeding or am I just over thinking the whole thing? Also does anyone have any good books or web-site about breastfeeding. And only answer seriously please… it’s obviously my first baby!!
I plan on taking 8 weeks off after the baby is born and plan on breast feeding during those weeks. I was thinking about renting a pump instead of buying one and trying to pump all the milk that he will need while in daycare for the 4 months afterward and of course, breast feed him when I am home at night. Is this an unrealistic expectation of myself?
Hi mommies!
Do you recommend a certain breast pump brand?
I plan on buying a new one because I plan on breast feeding and pumping too!
I wasn’t sure if one brand worked better than another.
thanks!
i’m using a pump because my baby has problems latching on, the doc said he was just lazy, and we’ve tried every thing. but my question is, do you still burn the same amount of calories using the pump as you would if your baby was really on your breast?
during labour, breastfeeding or first few days home with baby?
I am breast feeding a growing 4 month old.
I mean growing she weighs 16 pounds.
I am also supplementing an 8 month old preemie.
When pumping I discovered that one breast pumps a lot less.
Any suggestions?
I want to stop breast feeding/pumping. Do I just stop and if so what will happen to my breast? How long does it take to get back to normal?
when your pumping breast milk/breast feeding how do you know when you have emptied your breasts after each feeding/pumping?

After seeing several breastfeeding questions on this site, I thought I would help by giving out the La Leche League International Website address. I have answered a few breastfeeding questions with the help of past experience and the help of the book The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. Some people have disagreed with my answers, but the truth is that this organization has been around for 50 years and only focuses on breastfeeding—–who can disagree with that? I am also a Registered Nurse with 9 years experience. Just want to help the new mommies!
