What breast pump have you found to be the quickest, works the best, cost effective, etc. breast pump? I am pregnant and would like to register for a pump, but don’t know which one would be the best. I have read all the different reviews off the babies sites, but still unsure. I would like your opinion on battery or ac/dc run units. Thanks so much for your help!

just got responses when working 8 or more hours a day you DO NEED to breast pump @ work bcuz your supply will dry up and ur boobs will hurt. well if u feel uncomfotrtable and dont get enough breaks to do a full bresat pumping would it be ok to go in the bathroom every few hours and about a few minutes and just manuually with your hands squeeze the milk out into a sink or something ? not to sound gross.

If you’re not into that you may want to just pass this question up.
So in the family bed my 4 yob thinks it’s hilarious to jiggle my breasts. I don’t let him of course, but it has caused me to wonder if he could remember nursing he seems very friendly with my breasts, I kinda think they are like old friends to him…he was 2 when he was weaned (very persistent biter or he might still be nursing today, yes, I tried every trick in the book)
Do your kids remember nursing?
For anyone who might not be sure about this subject and has made it this far, remember that it wouldn’t be a gross or sexual memory, it would be a memory of a happy, peaceful comforting place.
I told this to my sister and she seemed to put a sexual connotation on it.

However, Im the only one in my family that has breast fed. I plan on pumping and putting the milk in a bottle. But, i have no idea what to buy to get me ready I am 33 weeks pregnant and stll havent gotten any good answers. I know a breast pump of course… but like how many bottles… drop ins what??? someone please help me out with this!

I have decided to exclusively pump for my son who is a week old, after many feeding problems I have found this to be the best choice for us.. but I am not sure how often I should be pumping or what to expect.. I try to pump every three hours or so.. and I get about 2-3 ounces from a side at each pumping.. but I wonder how will my milk production increase, does this happen gradually or do I need to do something.. any tips or advice would be great.. I want to give my son breast milk because I feel it is the best, I just dont know the basics..! thanks

When I asked the midwife the pros and cons, I was informed fewer infections for the baby, bonding and weight loss for reduced risk of breast/ovarian cancer for mother.
The intelligence aspect is apparently a myth.
In my opinion from these facts, you are doing no harm to the baby; besides perhaps letting it get a cold and strengthening it’s immune system that way. The risks to yourself are your own business and really negligible, smoking, sunbathing, fizzy pop, many foods put you at risk of cancer also … you can’t live in a protective bubble.
It’s a while off yet, but, I do not want to breast feed, the thought of it seems wrong. I would not do it in public (or indeed in front of anyone), which would be very restrictive. I’d consider a pump, but I am not a cow. The feeding would be shared between my husband and myself. Formula is very advanced. The one and only thing making me reconsider is the judgement, which to me seems ill educated and unfounded.
Explanations welcome.

Im not sure wat to do, i wasnt my baby to have my breast milk but dont not really keen on the idea of him breast feeding, is it ok if i use the breast pump form birth? and where can i get info about it?

i am working on my leadership for LLL…..and i am currently reading the womanly art…..and i do not like it!….i feel really let down….i guess i had higher expectations …..the book is just not my style

were on a vacation, and she tried to pump many times, it wont work, she manually squeezed some out, but I don’t know how long this will last, we leave in 2 days, and ALSO if it does last, can he drink the milk that’s in her breasts that’s been in there for a few days?? VERY CONCERNED.. PLEASE HELP!
