How Long Can I Go Without Breast Feeding Then Get It To Come Back In?

My baby was in the NICU when she was born for 7 days, while she was in the NICU I pumped and it was fed to her through a tube. By the time she came home she would not latch on. I gave up on it 2 months ago. Is there anything I can do to get my milk to come back in so I can nurse her or atleast pump for her?

I had difficulties in the beginning with breastfeeding and I almost gave up a million times. I had to supplement with formula for 2 months. It actually took me and my baby about 3 months to really get the hang. I think it would be possible for you but it might be a slow process. Don’t give up and good luck!
